KARAKORAM HIGHWAY - ISLAMABD TO CHINA
PAKISTAN
Islamabad
Skardu
12 Days
±1,900km
Ride the road that the BBC describe as the "Eighth Wonder of the World", the Karakoram Highway
Once a leg of the Silk Road, with its foundations built by locals centuries ago, the 1,300km Karakoram Highway runs from Hasan Abdal near Islamabad, cuts through some of the most astounding rock faces on the planet, crosses the highest paved border in the world and finishes in Kashgar, China.
We ride all but the last 290km as we travel from Islamabad in Pakistan to Tashkurgan in China, returning via the astonishing Shilshal Valley and on to complete our journey in Skardu.
